Here are a few of my tips on how I choose my flights
When traveling I like to choose flights based on price and accommodation. I tend to travel light so I usually don’t pay for the extra luggage. However, there are a few things I prioritize in my travels.
One thing I try really hard to avoid is connecting flights. With the number of delays possible, and the fatigue that comes from running around an airport I prefer paying a little bit extra to make sure my flight is as smooth as possible.
To find cheaper flights I use google flights, kayak, and the app Hopper. I always use incognito mode to look for websites, or else the flights get more expansive over time. Prices tend to be cheaper when you search for them on Mondays and Tuesdays. Flying out on Sunday tends to be cheaper as well since most people don’t travel on that day.
I make sure to compare and contrast airlines and prices for a bit before I pick one. Sometimes I wait for a few weeks right before the prices rise, they will drop that’s where the hopper app comes in handy.
